📝 3 Cold Email Templates that Worked
Applying for an opportunity as a Twitter Follower
Subject Line: Cold Email from a Random Twitter Follower interested in becoming a colleague Hi Jeff, Hope you are doing well. As a semi-tenured Twitter follower of yours, I have always appreciated your openness and honesty on the platform. It is hard not ot notice and be a bit envious of your enthusiasm for your work and your employer, and I figured there was no harm in sending you a note in an attempt to join in on the fun. A few months back, you replied to a tweet from Professor Fader offering to help MKTG alums find roles at Stripe. I tool his course a couple of years ago, and it was without question the single best class I have ever taken. Throughout my career, I have helped companies to build bew capabilities from scratch, design and implement new processes, and leverage technology more effectively. Most recently, I have been leading product and operations teams at XYZ, tasked with helping the company to interview and hire more efficiently. Though I have spent most of my time applying these skills in the human capital domain, I am confident that these skills would translate more broadly into other areas. I have very much enjoyed my time at XYZ, but at such an established company roles can be a bit narrow. I am eager to take on more and to sink my teeth into new problems. Given Stripe's culture (the commitment to writing and presence of the book publishing arm warms my English-major heart), its ambition, and its opportunity set (the internet's a big place), it is at the top of the list of companies I would be thrilled to join. I went through Stripe's careers site, but didn't find any role that jumped out at me as one that I thought was a slam dunk fit. I am linking my work portfolio here on the off chance that a quick glance might bring to mind a role or two with which you think my experience might align. Thanks for your consideration. Hope our paths cross in the future. Best, Your Name

Hey Corey,
Really loved some of the recent webinars that you guys have been hosting.
Watched the one with Asia during a flight to SF a few weeks ago and have been dying to circle back to watch more of them.
Quick intro on me: (Introduce yourself in brief) I rum Optimist. We are a content marketing agency tht works primarily with startups, SaaS, and tech companies. Personally, I have been doing content/SEO for my entire career, previously DOM for a VC-backed startup, and now scaled Optimist to $1MM ARR in ~2 years.
