   When you mention getting on the call or scheduling the meeting, always ask them to share the meeting link.

1. Applying for an internship opportunity

   Hi Justine, 
   
   My name is <mention your name> and I'm a senior at UCLA. I'm reaching out to ask if you'd consider bringing on an intern to your team at Canal?
   
   I'm really excited about the platform you're building to help brands reach new customers and improve their unit economics. I spent the summcer at a D2C beverage startup, and saw how hard it was to profitably acquire customers on channels like FB and IG. 
   
   Most of my past internships have been in biz ops & strategy - I'vs handled tasks like collecting & analyzing customer feedback, competitive benchmarking, and designing systems to track core metrics. But I'd love to chip in wherever the team needs help!

   Lastly, If I'm in a conference room and the video isn't working, I'm not the sort to simply call IT and wait. I'll also (gracefully) crawl under the table and check that everything is properly plugged in. This is my proactiveness in finding simple solutions to everyday problems!
